Bull in the Ring Not heard that in a long time. Back in the day we had to "play" bull in the ring anytime someone messed up in practice. Drill consists of one player in the middle of the circle or ring, coach points out someone in the ring to fly in and hit the bull in the ring (who was usually the player that messed up to begin with). One player after another until the entire team has unloaded on the player in the ring. Tough stuff if you were the bull. Its a good idea to not have it, but when did this drill become illegal?

Do first round games start at 7:30 am? If so thats a real early start for any sport. I would guess the number of games on sat. cause this starting time.

If North slows down Watkins they have a chance. Don't see that happening, Corbin 28 North 14.

One would think after the first three very difficult games LC could be able to handle Pineville at home. I have not seen the Mt. Lions, but it sounds like they are much improved. I feel LC takes this one 21 to 20.

My guess 7 or 8 years was enough! Just kidding, I'm sure Pineville will be very well coached and a team that will be in most every game they play. Coach Strange is a top notch coach.

This game was not as close as the score shows, and thats bad when its 55 to 13. Who is Lynn Camps backup QB? They will need him real soon if Smith keeps taking a pounding like he did last night!! Whitley has several good athletes, but they should for a school their size. Other than the gate and short drive I don't really see how this is a great game for either team.

Corbin 38 Harlan 14. Someone said Corbin had not been to Harlan in 34 years, its usually a good football atmosphere there. Does Harlan still play "Crazy Train", when they come on to the field? Always loved that.

I agree with you 42 to 7 looks about right. LC can have a good year in 1A if the first 3 games don't have them beat down, mentally and physically.

I didn't hear a name, they played with him at some church in London.

A couple of guys I know have played with him and said he could really play, dunking all over people. Not saw him myself so I really don't know, someone like this to go along with St. John would give South a really good frontline.

After last weeks loss at home for KC and the huge win for North. I feel the Panthers may be in trouble. They have some good young talent, but lost several very good players from last year. North Laurel 21 KC 14

Not a big difference between 42-0 and 48-0, agree freshman really want six when they get a chance to play. Going for two might be a bit much, better to work on kicking game.
