Where have all the sophomores and players in general gone, 45 is a workable number of players, but leaves no room for injuries.

Not a smart move, looking at his eyes in the picuture he sure had some type of buzz going on, just being a young guy at a party.

Knox Central Looking for New Head Coach
The Breeze replied to Bubba Wilson's topic in KY Boys Basketball (High School)
West has helped the Redhounds alot since he has been there, what if he did leave and won a region as a head coach elsewhere, that would be cool for any current assistant coach. He may not really be in the running for the KC job, don't really know, but he would do as well or better than the last few years, I would guess. -
Patrick Patterson to spend summer in California
The Breeze replied to TrueBlueWildcat's topic in College Basketball
I sure hope he is the best, after 8 weeks Patterson should be in monster condition. I just felt going from one coast to the other to train with the someone outside the KY program was odd to me. Don't we have a strength and condition coach? Hope he doesn't get any Jarmon like supplements. -

Odd that he has to go 3000 miles away to get in basketball shape, hope this guy gets him in shape and not kill his body. -

Les I would have thought for sure you would know were West has been:idunno:. I remember he had some success at W'burg, not at LC long, one or two years maybe. I was in Barbourville Monday and heard the names I listed. If Combs were to get this job Evans may be able to go back to his old job at Union, just a thought. -
Not saying its a bad thing, but why do they keep the Tennessee win? The bowl win as well? No books to sell before these or what?

I don't think this is the case at all, I'm 98% sure Evans would have already taken the job if it was his to take. I have heard three other names the last couple of days, Kelly Combs (current Union College coach), Brent West (current Corbin asst.) and one that is a puzzle to me, Tony Patterson (long ago KC player). To my knowledge he has never coached anywhere and does not teach either. To his credit he was a really good player back in the 80's. Also a couple of assistant coaches from Laurel Co. names are floating around. -
 Great list, I guess all the poptarts were gone or he would have sold them to!

May be wrong, but I don't see that happing at KC and coach as well. -
It would be my guess there are alot of theses coaches (football and basketball) that feel this way, they just don't come out and say it in public.

Well, wonder were Josh will go for spring break? He will already be at the beach! Sounds like a great place to go to school and play ball. -

Bell made a mistake letting him go does KC they have a teaching position for they could open for him? -

IMO it is really open and the Supt. will have a large say in who gets it. Maybe they will bring back Bill Swafford from retirement, he has came back to coach at least 2 times before. Evans would be the logical choice because he already teaches in Knox Co. and had middle school sucess with most of the current players, and has years of college coaching experience, but that county dosen't always use common sense. -
From IM4's tone they must somewhat. Players who can be good at more than one sport have hard decisions to make sometimes.

I like her comments much better than Saul Dogs, bet she could whip him as well, maybe outplay him in basketball to. -

OK Brad Sizemore, never knew his last name. I agree he will make a very fine coach someday. I look for him to maybe become South's coach when Coach Wright moves on. I don't think he would fit in a KC at all. Wonder if Cody Miller stays there now? -

Evans would not be a bad one to guess about. Who is Sizemore? Brad? -

IMO there were more than one parent upset and maybe even a grandparent who didn't like the way things were going, not a real suprise, maybe a few more things to happen as well. -

My son still has the Little Penny talking doll, Penny was his favorite player back in the day. The voice of the doll is a young Chris Rock I beleive.
