So I guess if they meet they will tie! I agree numbers can sometime be deceiving, Corbin has played an ok schedule this year, IMO not a great one, that being said I still feel they have the potential to reach Sat. morning at Rupp, but watching that night.

He usually has a solid game, I don't think any coach goes home happy after a loss,in this case an upset, I'm sure he wasn't happy at all. Good win for the Jackets to bad they play in such a tough district they may be coming together at the right time but it won't matter much.

What is the schedule for the 50th, I quess W'burg plays if there will be a sea of oragne on Monday. Who plays the girls games?

Maybe they are in the SEKC but I don't remember them playing in the Pan-o-rama anywhere which is a money maker for this conference. Anyway good to see them playing Corbin again.

If you lose by 32 I don't really see getting 70 againest Corbin D a real postive alot of those points came in the 4th vs subs. Mobley has the potential to be a very good player.

Are you sure LC is part of the SEKC? I believe they left it a long time ago, maybe they got back in. Why does it not make sense to not play a region oppnent more than once? I don't see how that would hurt anything, makes sense if both teams needed another game on the schedule.

I was talking about Corbin and Clay playing home and away instead of playing FCI or whoever, if they both needed a game badly. I didn't know LC was in any conference, I may be wrong.

I don't know him but he is only a JR. how could it be too late to work hard? I agree the sky is the limit for a player his size and potential.

For one I don't remember seeing the big 6'4 or so redheaded football player that comes off the bench, don't know about others.

Wonder why they just didn't just schedule each other home and away, I know they played once this year don't remember were. Their games are always an intense atmosphere!

I don't remember the year, maybe 85,86,or 87 but LC beat the Hounds at Corbin, the LC side of the gym was full and rocking. The next year Billy Hicks came from Harlan and the Redhounds became real butt-kickers. When Coach Bingham at LC, took over they stopped playing, IMO good to see them playing again no matter what the score or who wins.

I agree one ugly game, LC bench looked really thin last night, maybe 3 subs? I felt the way things were going they would have to finish the game with only 3 or 4 players on the floor! IMO they committed the large majority of those fouls though, to much slapping at the ball, pushing etc, the T's didn 't help things either. Corbin is a deep and good team this year, tough year to renew an old rivalary.

Who does in the 13th? If he stays out of foul trouble look out.

I agree with you on this, Clay is a hardnose team, they don't have the force of a St.John from South or the overall team talent of Corbin but on a given night could take either of these teams down.

The 51st should have no backing down, 3 small schools and 1 large one. Alot years these teams are fairly equal. This district is much easier than the old 50th for the Knox Co. schools. Pineville is in a better situation as well.

IMO all districts should have to draw or seed in the state to make things uniform, I agree Jackson Co. should step up and vote to seed.

Sounds like South may be getting their role players in line at the right time, We all know St. John is a load for anyone, the role players will make the region interesting if they get that far, imo they will.

You are right, it is the 14th, why would Harlan Co. not play it usually is a good event?
