Clay County is a VERY DANGEROUS team. If everybody believes this is only a battle between South and Corbin for the region title this year. They're wrong.

Clay had at least 7-8 blocked shots on the Bears, really good D, block out as good as any team.

How did Caldwell for Harlan County fair?

His normal game very solid, he had a double double, 18 points and 11 boards. HC guards were 6/35 from the field.

Clay is the 2nd best team in IMO. BUT SL as we all seen last night is very dangerous when it counts.

I would not say they blocked out good because most of the Bears points came off second shots. Clay beat Harlan Co. because they have 5 or 6 guys who can score off the dribble. They may be a little better than even Corbin in this area.

HC really did go hard to the offensive glass, after looking at the stats with Caldwell hitting 6/9 from the field and the guards hitting a combined 6/35, it might be time to make and extra pass or two and feed the post, as much as possible. The games that I have seen them play well in are the ones that keep Caldwell in the flow of the offense on every trip down the floor except transition.

I have thought all season that Caldwell is the best scoring threat we have! When other people know that I guess it's hard to execute though.

I agree with you on this, Clay is a hardnose team, they don't have the force of a St.John from South or the overall team talent of Corbin but on a given night could take either of these teams down.
