Perry Central and Hazard are not allowed to play! Their games got out of control and the powers that be decided it would be best if they didn't play. And they have to play district games which consist of north laurel and Whitley, that's somewhat of a problem Harlan County's closest district game is either Letcher Central or Perry Central.

Looks like we lost #34 one of our starting tailbacks! He tore an ACL in the 8th grade and said this fills familiar. It was his other knee in 8th grade. I don't think he's been to the doctor yet though so there might be hope!!!

Worked out some kinks, still working! May have lost a running to a knee injury!!! Hope for the best with this young man! Go Bears!!!

I think the score was 15-13 Knox from what I hear neither coach wanted to show too much. They both play Bell and Clay and Pulaski was there so not much went on. Knox has an impressive pass combination. Black Bears O-line looked suspect, it was a scrimmage but you don't like to see the line struggle! Also hear that Tucker will have an MRI On Monday he can move his knee and there is no swelling Doc says could be a sprain/strain or a small tear. No swelling and he has movement only has pain when he straightens it all the way out. Let's all keep our fingers and toes crossed.

Yes the North Laurel game is on Thursday, if you get the Wazoo Sports channel it will be shown live. As for breakout players don't forget the Maggard kid played a lot at reciever so he has some experience to go on the other side of Dylon Smith. And I hear Tucker Lewis may see some time at fullback that should be interesting.

Mama Bear got it I meant he was a coach there.

I think a factor to consider is that LCC has cougar-rama! Kidding one thing to consider is they do have a new head coach and even though he has been there it's still a change.

The Brewer kid has worked hard this offseason he will be just fine! Especially with the way Coach Larkey likes to run the ball. He will have Taylor, McMillian, and Dylon Smith to run the ball with Lewis clearing them a path and getting the tough yards!!! Smith along with a seasonded Austin Maggard will be threats at wideout. The defense should be fast and physical. Go Bears!!!

Is he the Head Coach??? Some friends I have in Leslie county have said their are some people in Leslie County who are unhappy with the job the head coach has done there. In my opinion he has a young team and has played some tuff teams the last few years and my thinking is that will make them better in the long run.

I've heard the job is Roark's if he wants it. Haven't really heard of any other names being mentioned.

I think the Coach's pride gets in the way of the purpose of this game. It is to showcase these young men. Don't get me wrong I like to beat TN in anything, but this is dealing with a young mans future. I don't think they should keep score, but it does make it a little more entertaining. I had this gripe last year that everyone didn't get quality playing time. It was better this year then last so hopefully it's getting better about showcasing these kids!

I can remember two from Highlands playing last year, I do believe it is a KY/tn all star game. But I'm all for a NKY and SEKY game, that's just another football game we get to enjoy!!! I went last year and plan on going this year, it's a good atmosphere and the kids play hard because they are playing against a state rival.

I checked it a while back and it still had the 08 stuff, I will check it out. It's a good fix for football right about the time you really start missing High School Football!
