Cards shot lights out for the game - 60 percent - including six-of-eight from 3-point land in second quarter when St. John was in foul trouble on the bench.

Another bright spot was the play of Hunter Sizemore, who came off the bench and scored six points, while grabbing four rebounds. Five players scored in double figures for the Cards - with St. John leading the way with 26 points and six boards.

The win assures South Laurel at least a tie for the 50th District's No. 1 seed. If Corbin beats W'burg this week, a coin flip will determine the No. 1 seed - didn't I say earlier that this could possibly happen:sssh:

Also, W'burg's Steven Taylor put on a three-point clinic. He hit eight-of-12 and finished the game with 26 points.

Good win for the CARDS.

Sounds like South may be getting their role players in line at the right time, We all know St. John is a load for anyone, the role players will make the region interesting if they get that far, imo they will.
