  1. Yes Congrats as well.Good Luck on Monday, should be a full, full house on Log Mountain for both games.
  2. Good game by North, I bet the people in Knox Co. are not very happy today! If KC had of won it would have been a war vs Corbin on Monday! North will have to take the battle to Corbin now, which I don't see happening to much.
  3. I felt like this would be somewhat of a good game because Coach Jones would have a good game plan. Corbin should be able to roll the rest of the way to many weapons. By the way how can you be at home and still be watching, games are not on TV. :idunno: No really I know what you mean, just kidding.
  4. Or not alot for 4A teams. KC should be solid next year but have to replace many parts. Barger may be a good QB as well.
  5. Your right some are thicker than others, but I would guess the one on Clay is fairly large. Corbin's may be a novel not a notebook.
  6. Corbin has a ton of good players no doubt they should win this game and the region as well. But, strange things happen when its a one loss and your out deal. In the end only one girls team and one boys team end up winners anyway.
  7. I meant play in Harlan Co. favor due to Coach Jones tenure at Clay if 15th region officals were calling.
  8. I feel like KC will take NL again, a much closer game but a Panther win. 72 to 69.
  9. BVille only lost by 1 at M'boro, I feel sure Dinky will not be out coached, Tigers need a big game from Beck and the Big Man in the middle and they win this one 64 to 61.
  10. Games are different this time of year, I don't see Corbin blowing HC out but they should win by 10 or 12. I would guess HC will be very physical and slow the game down to have a chance to win in the 4th. Are 15th region officals calling this tourney? If so this could play into Clay's favor alittle.
  11. South is 21 and 8 Clay is 19 and 12. South beat Clay 58 to 54 at Clay during the regular season. Pretty even matchup, should be one of the best games in the region. Denny's notebook may be the difference. South 60 Clay 53.
  12. M'boro could sneak in there and pull an upset or two and win this. But, Clay has to be the favorite, I'll bet all the teams will be huge fans for Corbin for the first time this year!
  13. I was there for this game, you are correct Branham was a monster in this game as well as the state finals. M'boro's kicker was the real deal that year also. What I remember the most about this game was only about the top 22 players for Beechwood could fit in the small dressing room at M'boro so around 70 or so players just milled around outside at half time and before the game, while the starters were inside. A great atmosphere for football.
  14. And you may be right!
  15. Week two and three they will be huge underdogs the rest are games they could win if they stay healthy. 8-2, but more likely 7-3 with a slip-up along the way. IMO they are not the big favorite in some of these games, but games they can win. The last one vs MC could be World War III.
  16. He may not but Cody Miller just may the way he has been playing of late. I expect to see South and Corbin battle again when all is said and done.
  17. I asked someone who the officals were as well that called so many fouls, Glen Gray was one, he didn't know one and he said the other was from M'boro. 73 is alot of fouls.
  18. The way Miller is playing right now I don't know about that but I guess they would be a better draw than Clay or North and much better than Corbin.
  19. I thought the Bears would win this one but hard to beat good team when someone goes off the charts and scores 49, great game young man!!! You sure Jodie Meeks didn't suit up for M'boro?
  20. This game was still in doubt until the last 20 seconds and Corbin only up by 4 or so, good win for the Hounds. Cards have to believe they can win the next one (if that happens) my guess it will. Big advantage being the winner I don't see any runner-up that would beat either team in the region, winners on the other hand could pull an upset.
  21. Looks like KC is riding a big horse named Cody Miller, whenever I've watched him he seems to play effortless and very smooth. Back to back big games.
  22. I think it will be a low scoring game with HC coming out on top, tough to beat a team three times in one season unless you are way, way better. I though the Bears would beat Bell and I think they upset M'boro. 52 to 49.
  23. I guess you would have lost alot of money!:scared:
  24. Great story and wrote in a way thats worthy for ESPN THE MAG. good job!!!!!
