13th Region Tournament: Game 1 Middlesboro vs. Barbourville

Featured Replies

What's your thoughts?

I think Middlesboro pulls out in the end in what will be a very good game.

I think B-ville will pull this one off in the end. M'boro is also loaded with talent @ three key positions. They will need another Richie Farmer type performance from Brown to win this game.

BVille only lost by 1 at M'boro, I feel sure Dinky will not be out coached, Tigers need a big game from Beck and the Big Man in the middle and they win this one 64 to 61.

This one is the toughest pick of them all in my opinion. I think M'Boro has better talent, but Dinky is one of the best tournament coaches in the region. I gonna go with the Jackets, but I wouldn't be suprised if the Tigers pull this one off.

Dink will find a way to win. B'vile by 6.

Barbourville 56-53.

Nothing against Dinky. I agree that he's a very good coach and has done amazing work to make Barbourville competitive year in and year out.

But except for getting to the finals a couple of years ago, when was the last time Barbourville won a game in the regional? I may be missing one, but I think it was 1986.

Middlesboro will have to play defense in this one. I wouldn't coun't Dinky out either. The Tigers could pull off the upset here.

Middlesboro hasn't gotten any love all year, except from old HDE.
