Now...is there any doubt that SL through off yesterday? See, people that don't know the game, don't really catch onto that kind of stuff. They think they if they win, they are better, regardless of who the opposing team actually pitched against them.

WoW! That sure is a lot of confidence considering you only beat your cross town rivals by 1. Does that mean you might have a little trouble with North down the road when they throw their ace?

They were better that day if they won. :idunno: I don't know the game, but if you win, for whatever reason you are better that game, IMO.

The day they won, they were better. The day they lost, they were not. Anything else is just an excuse. The Cardinals scored 15 tonight but only 3 when they lost to Whitley the night before. Whitley scored 5 when they beat South and when they lost to South. How did South's 'throwing off' impact Whitley if they scored the same number of runs both games? Whitley's scoring was the same, so your theory of having 'thrown off', doesn't work here. In the words of Sam Elliott "That dog won't hunt." The bottom line is that South hit the ball much better in game 2 than in game 1 and scored a bunch.

 

I have to quote Herm Edwards here "You play to win the game." The bottom line is that South needed the win and got it in a big way. Congrats to the Cardinals! :thumb:
