Williamsburg/South Laurel Predictions

Featured Replies

The Jackets are banged up but coming off of a good win against Jellico. South enters the game with a loss to Letcher. Can the Jackets overcome injuries and South Laurel's depth?

I think this could be a great game. South Laurel has to keep Moses and the Williamsburg offense in check and really step their running game up a notch in this one. The CV Bowl now has 2 potentially very interesting games!

I would, at this point, think South has a tremendous edge in numbers, however during the Herron era the Jackets fight like , well mad yellow jackets when pushed in a corner. I agree this could be a very interesting game.

I think that this will be a very intersting game. If Williamsburg wins then SL is headed in the wrong direction IMO.

South Laurel 21-19.

My prediction in a game that will last 3 hours and 48 minutes is:

WHS 44

SLHS 41:ylsuper:

If WHS can overcome their fatigue/cramping issues from last week they have a good shot at this game. I think if they were healthy they would be favored...since they are not I think they will pull out a close one in the end 34-31.

South only has half their team out there due to eligibility issues. SL will be a different team after week 5. They have 5 starters out.

Why are they ineligible for that long of a period?

1/2 the team is out due to eligibility issues? I knew they had 5 out per the report I read last week, but 1/2?

If there are that many out, it would have relate to their grades at the end of last year, and it sounds like Larry has been dealt a tough deal to start the season. Ouch!

SL headed wrong direction fast. They maybe go 0-10 in 2009. Thank goodness for M'boro.

I really think that the Jackets can handle the Cards. I think the Jackets could handle the Cards with all their starters eligible.

Williamsburg wins one for the small schools....

That may be on the short end.....:ohbrother:

SL is really struggling. I am not suprised they are a underdog against a very small school. SL has the talent to be 1 of the better teams in EKY. The Administration could care less about football.
