Fired Friday confirmed just a few minutes ago. We are now looking for a new head football coach.:cry:

Idk really I've been out of the loop for a long time but I've been hearing the rumor of him leaving for a long time now.

Roark was real close to leaving before last season from what I have been told, it just didn't quite work out.

I heard this on Friday and talked to a few people this weekend about it. I wonder what they will do now? Any possible coaches in the system that would take over? Or do they have someone else in mind?

Seems like a guy who earned the right to stay around with 16 winning seasons??? Is there something we all don't know about? Or is Middlesboro just one of those places where parents and politics are winning out?

He was just to stubborn to change the way he coached and that was his undoing , his defensive scheme IMHO costed us a couple of State Championships. I used to love it (the defense) when we had the athletes to run it but we ain't had that kind of talent since 1998.
