He was just to stubborn to change the way he coached and that was his undoing , his defensive scheme IMHO costed us a couple of State Championships. I used to love it (the defense) when we had the athletes to run it but we ain't had that kind of talent since 1998.

 

This Coach got you all your first and only state title I would be glad have that.

Yes he did and I don't think that they will give him a chance because of that. I think that they are more interested in their program than that. JMO

I heard that he had some serious off the field issues that have gotten progressively worse over the past 4 or 5 years that became undeniable. Their hands were tied.

I for one, could not say enough good things about John. His presence anywhere deserves respect. He would be a good HS football coach anywhere. JMHO.

I wonder what kind of serious issues, I mean they where serious issues we can over look, until we had a losing season, but I understand there hands where tied. I hope the parents are not in control of this program, if so Middleeboro's best days are behind them.
