Knott Co Central will hold a press conference today (3-10-10) at 2:30pm to announce their new head football coach. The word is that it will be former KCC and Somerset coach Jay Cobb returning to coach his former team.

I heard the same thing.

Seems like they were decent when he was there.

This is a good rehire for the Patriots. Cobb was a good coach when he was there and should be a good fit to rebuild the program.

Congrats to Coach Cobb, at KCC he went,

 

1993 1-9

1994 5-6 lost to Bell Co. 9-25 playoffs

1995 7-3 {only played 9 games that year before the playoffs} lost Whitley Co. 26-27

1996 8-3 lost South Laurel 7-12 playoffs

1997 3-8 lost Bell Co. 0-35 playoffs

 

The best years in KCC history, he can put the program on the right path again.
