These were our early March rankings of the 8th Region.  What does this season look like?

1. North Oldham (25-5)

2. Spencer County (22-9)

3. Woodford County (24-6)

4. Simon Kenton (16-15)

5. Walton-Verona (22-10)

6. South Oldham (17-13)

7. Owen County (19-13)

8. Gallatin County (20-12)

Should be highly competitive. Lots of great seniors are gone! Looking forward to see how Simon Kenton can make strides going into 24-25 off their high end to the season.

With Jasper Johnson returning to Woodford along with the Armelo Boone transfer this would move Woodford to the top of 8th region if not the top of the state. imo

I'm not totally sold on Jasper playing the season there. I'm of the understanding that's he's playing for OTE this coming year.

30th district is at Anderson County this year. They are returning 4 starters, 2 of which are all region type players and have one of the best incoming freshman in the state.  Things are starting to look up in Lawrenceburg.

I really wasn’t that impressed with Woodford in their game against Fern Creek. They looked good but I don’t think they’re on the same level as Great Crossing or Louisville Male.
