theguru Posted May 14, 2024 Posted May 14, 2024 These were our early March rankings of the 8th Region. What does this season look like? 1. North Oldham (25-5) 2. Spencer County (22-9) 3. Woodford County (24-6) 4. Simon Kenton (16-15) 5. Walton-Verona (22-10) 6. South Oldham (17-13) 7. Owen County (19-13) 8. Gallatin County (20-12)
LLS10 Posted May 14, 2024 Posted May 14, 2024 Should be highly competitive. Lots of great seniors are gone! Looking forward to see how Simon Kenton can make strides going into 24-25 off their high end to the season.

16thBBall Fan Posted June 21, 2024 Posted June 21, 2024 With Jasper Johnson returning to Woodford along with the Armelo Boone transfer this would move Woodford to the top of 8th region if not the top of the state. imo

Polar Bearcat Posted June 22, 2024 Posted June 22, 2024 30th district is at Anderson County this year. They are returning 4 starters, 2 of which are all region type players and have one of the best incoming freshman in the state. Things are starting to look up in Lawrenceburg. 1
BBN_34 Posted June 22, 2024 Posted June 22, 2024 I really wasn’t that impressed with Woodford in their game against Fern Creek. They looked good but I don’t think they’re on the same level as Great Crossing or Louisville Male. 1
MaddenCurse44 Posted October 14, 2024 Posted October 14, 2024 Pioneers have should be pretty good this year. 6'7 Stone 6'3 Polly and Bilton. Roster is loaded this year.
