The 2-2 Bearcats travel to Crestwood for their first District game of the year to take on the 1-4 Dragons. Anderson County's game last week was cancelled and not rescheduled due to weather. South Oldham lost to in county rival Oldham County 14-12. For the first time in a while, both teams feel like they can win this district matchup. Good luck and safe travels to both teams and fans.

The 3-0 Panthers from Carrollton travel to Lawrenceburg this Friday to battle the 2-2 Bearcats. Carroll County is fresh off a bye week, while the Anderson County won at Harrison County last week. These 2 teams have played the last 3 years with the Panthers winning the first contest and Bearcats taking the last two. Safe travels and good luck to both teams, officials, and fans.

The 1-2 Bearcats travel to Cynthiana Friday night to battle the winless Thorobreds (0-3). Anderson County defeated Harrison County last year in Lawrenceburg 39-21. Good luck to both teams and safe travels to the players and fans!

The Cougars travel up a couple of parkways to visit Bearcats in Lawrenceburg. Last year Anderson County went to Leitchfield and got a win. Grayson looks to return the favor on the road this year. Both teams won comfortably last week and come into week two 1-0. There should be great weather and football under the full moon on Friday. Safe travels to both teams and their fans.

Washington County makes the trip up the BGP to Lawrenceburg to take on Anderson County. Last years game in Springfield came down to the last possession? Will the Commanders make it 2 in row or will the Bearcats get revenge for the close loss to start last season? Safe travels to each team and fanbase. On a side note, if you have not seen a game yet at Washington County's new field you should check it out. I was extremely impressed last year, great setting and character for a Fall Friday night.

As an alum, and who's last name is synonymous with Bracken County, I am deeply saddened by the current state of Bracken County Basketball. I know how this is going to sound but here goes: As our community and school system let the old high school and gym rot away so did the spirit/aura of Bracken County High School. The few Polar Bears left that care know what I'm talking about and have bricks or bleachers from the old school at their house like I do, it's a really sad state of affairs a long time in the making.

Anderson scrimmaged a top 5 team in the 11th region, Lafayette last week. New young roster, played hard, organized, and shot the ball well.

Louisville Desales travels east to Lawrenceburg for the final game of the regular season. DeSales(4-5) comes off a late bye week, while Anderson County(3-6) comes off a district loss to Woodford County. Can the Bearcats recapture their predistrict form and get a much needed win heading into the offseason or will the Colts spoil the last home game of the season and get to .500?

The Bearcats (3-4) are coming off a bye week and the Titans (5-3) are coming off a home loss to Woodford County. Both teams are looking for their first district win of the season and to take a big step in cashing their ticket to the playoffs (District 6 is a 5 team district only the top 4 make the playoffs). The Dragons come to town off of a huge rivalry win over Oldham County while the Bearcats enter the game off of a big road win over previously undefeated Carroll County. Who wins and why? Big News in the district Realignment discussion for the 2026-2027 season. The AD's voted yesterday to send Collins to the 29th District with the 3 Oldham County schools and Gallatin County to the 32nd with the Northern KY part of the 8th region, SK, Grant County, Walton Verona, and Williamstown. This has to be approved by the KHSAA in November.
