With 1:01 to go in the game, Bracken County was called for a technical foul, and within a few seconds, the entire team and coaching staff made their way to the locker room. I haven't heard any official explanation yet, but this won't end well for the Polar Bears.

Didn't Powell County walk off the floor last year? Was there any consequences?

What could be bad enough to walk off of the floor in the middle of a game? 

Yet another example of a coach failing miserably to teach his athletes a valuable life lesson.  Instead, oh, we don't like the whistles, let's quit.  

Unless there was a player safety issue that went unaddressed, this is so bad.

Very easy fix, any team that does this, the rest of their schedule will be forfeited.

I think there is a hefty fine that comes along with these decisions.

This is two games in a row that the Bracken Co. head coach received a T at a most critical end of game time.  At Augusta with 0.7 seconds left the T on a last second shot attempt gave Augusta 4 FTs to win.  Now against Bath we have a coach T who then takes his team off the floor to end the game.  Am I missing a little common thread here needing to be addressed by AD, Principal, and/or Supt?

As an alum, and who's last name is synonymous with Bracken County, I am deeply saddened by the current state of Bracken County Basketball.  I know how this is going to sound but here goes:  As our community and school system let the old high school and gym rot away so did the spirit/aura of Bracken County High School.  The few Polar Bears left that care know what I'm talking about and have bricks or bleachers from the old school at their house like I do, it's a really sad state of affairs a long time in the making.

Agree, or perhaps disqualification from post season play?  Or, on second thought, at a minimum the Coach is disqualified for those equivalents.  Don’t like punishing players for totally unacceptable action by the coach.

I saw the Head Coach didn’t receive a T but a player did and then Bracken left the floor. Apparently an assistant was ejected earlier in the game.

#34 for Bracken appears to be the only mature one on the team.  The head-coach sets the tone, and there is obviously no discipline on the team. 

This occurred at an away game.  I saw them play once this year in their building.  They had a good crowd there, but the fans were rowdy, and the players seemed to feed off that.  It got very chippy in the 2nd half.  I assumed it was due to the fans, but now it seems obvious that it's a coach issue.  He should be dismissed immediately.   

I am almost positive that a school gets fined for walking off the court in a situation such as this.
