Augusta opens the season with a decisive win over their longtime rival. Sophomore Maddox Hesler led all scorers with 27 points, hitting 5 of the Panthers’ 16 3s. Fellow sophomore Ross Carl had 14 and freshman Griffin Miller added a career high 10 off the bench. 
 

The Panthers are back in action on Friday night at the Fieldhouse in Maysville facing off against Mason County (7:30). That’s followed up by an afternoon home game vs. St. Patrick at 4 on homecoming. Both games are seeding games and are also g/b double headers. 

I really look for Augusta to make some noise in the All A this year.

Congrats to older brother Jason on the win in The Hinson Bowl.

The Panthers lost a lot to graduation.  Good to see guys stepping into new roles.

Dang, good thing Thanksgiving is already over.  Be a little uncomfortable at the table after beating your lil Bro that bad!

Pretty young team with good ball handlers. 

Yes. Scrappy bunch that plays well together. Will be undersized just about every night but they’ve got a lot of fight. Just can’t be too aggressive and get into foul trouble.
