  1. I feel like Noah is the more physically ready to play in the SEC. But don’t count out Perry. How many ppl thought Sheppard would do what he did this season? Good luck to both guys as they prepare for the next chapter.
  2. Custard is a grown man. Could not be stopped. Anyone have scoring in this one?
  3. Harrison got 57 points from two guys and survived against Scott. Can’t do that and beat the Royals. Got to have more guys involved. Mason will wear you down. I say Smiley drops 5 3s and helps the Breds get by the Royals, 70-65.
  4. The quarterfinals were available on NFHS through Prepspin but that didn’t work very well. Only was able to see the second half of the Mason/Bourbon game. The other games wouldn’t even start. Is that an option for tonight? Although free popcorn sounds good… Prediction: Campbell 69, GRC 65 The loss of Ashford makes a difference tonight.
  5. This was a tough one to watch. I haven’t seen many of Mason County games this season but this has to be one of their best performances. Credit to them for making a statement that they are a contender for the 10th region’s spot in the Sweet Sixteen. As for the Panthers, a great season came to an unfortunate end. But this loss will not define this group. They finished the season 20-10, the 8th 20 win season in school history, 4 of which have been in the last 11 seasons. Three of those seasons were coached by KABC 10th region coach of the year, Jason Hinson. We also brought home our 2nd All A region title. We lose KABC 10th region player of the year Kylan Hinson, Conner Snapp, Devante Jefferson, Elijah Johnson and Jesse Johnson. Good luck to our seniors. Keeton Bach, Will Kelsch and Noland Young return to lead the Panthers next season in the first year of seeding in the 39th district. We’ll see you then.
  6. Allow me to answer my own question. The 38th and 40th will be as well.
  7. I know that the 39th will be available on NFHS. Will any of the other districts be as well?
  8. To the best of my knowledge Snapp will play. The Panthers will be ready. Should be a good battle on Tuesday night in Brooksville. I’d get there early.
  9. Congrats to coach Hinson and Kylan Hinson! It’s been a great year, let’s keep it going on Tuesday night!!!
  10. Snapp is hopeful to return before the district game with Mason County. The Panthers have had to find a different way to win w/out him on the floor and have done so. Most of the wins haven’t been pretty but wins nonetheless. Gallatin was as good a win as the Panthers have had this season. Holmes comes to visit on Thursday then a tough one in Cynthiana on Saturday afternoon to close out the week.
  11. The inaugural 9th vs 10th hardwood classic at the historic Augusta gymnasium, sponsored by DBL Law, takes place this Saturday with a full slate of games. 12. Augusta started what they hope will be a new winning streak with Monday night’s victory. It didn’t start out the way they planned as they trailed after 1 quarter, 14-10. Wasn’t long after they jumped in front 16-14 and never looked back. Kylan Hinson led all scorers with 33 points. Joining him in double digits were Conner Snapp with 13, and Keeton Bach with 12. Panthers are on the road again on Wednesday at St. Patrick, game time, 6pm.
  13. Best of luck to the Augusta Panthers as they take on Walton Verona tomorrow in the All A State Tournament held at the Corbin Arena. Game time scheduled for 1pm.
  14. From allaclassic.org Media Information 5. Broadcast media must use cell phones to broadcast as no landlines or electrical outlets will be available in the assigned media seating section. The broadcast rights fee charge for each game is $150 and should be paid prior to broadcast. Checks should be made to the All “A” Classic.
  15. Was wondering if anyone has ever broadcasted a game at the Corbin Arena. We’ve been informed that there are no electric outlets in the media area. I’ve never been there before but this sounds like a huge inconvenience for broadcasters. So, any tips or info would be appreciated.
  16. The Augusta Panthers collected their second All A championship in school history and first since 2015. Conner Snapp led the way with 17 points and Kylan Hinson dropped in 16. All Academic team - Kylan Hinson All Tournament team - Conner Snapp, Kylan Hinson and Devante Jefferson
  17. Augusta advances to the 10th region All A final vs. Nicholas County on Thursday night at 7:45. Bracken County hung around but the Panthers were just too much. The 10-4 Panthers were led by Conner Snapp with 28, Kylan Hinson with 22, Keeton Bach with 20, and Devante Jefferson with 17. The winner of Thursday night’s game will play Walton Verona on Thursday January 25th at the Corbin Arena at 1pm in the All A state tournament.

  19. The Panthers got within 1 late in the 4th quarter after trailing by as many as 12 in the first half. The Camels hit the necessary free throws down the stretch to pull away. Conner Snapp led the Panthers with 21 points and Kylan Hinson added 10. Augusta drops to 8-4 on the season. Next up, the Paris Greyhounds in the quarterfinals of the 10th All A Tournament. The game is scheduled for 6pm at Nicholas County on Saturday but snow could cause games to be rescheduled.
  20. Kylan Hinson beats the buzzer with a turnaround well defended 3 pointer in front of the Augusta bench to win the game. Scott led by as many as 11 in the first half and Augusta by 7 in the second but it was a tight finish that improved the Panthers to 8-2. Hinson led Augusta with 18 points. Conner Snapp added 16, Keeton Bach 14, and Devonte Jefferson 10. The Panthers face Pike County Central tomorrow at 2:30. IMG_1839.mov
  21. Panthers battled in this one but came up short. The Bearcats kept a close eye on Kylan Hinson holding him to 12 points and Keeton Bach to 14. Conner Snapp had a strong second half, keeping the Panthers in it and finished with 23. Augusta falls to 7-2 and will face the loser of the North Oldham/Scott game, that is currently in progress, at 2pm tomorrow.
  22. Hate to burst your bubble but I watched the end of this one and it was Bath County that won, 75-59.
  23. Panthers improve to 7-1 with today’s win. Back on the road on Wednesday night at Carroll County.
