The 2-2 Gridiron Bearcats head north to Carrollton to face the undefeated Panthers. Carroll County is coming off an early bye week, while Anderson County got its first home W with a convincing victory over Harrison County. Both teams looking for a big win before district play begins next week. Good luck to both teams and safe travels to both fan bases.

Nice first Home win for the Bearcats. Exercised some demons from last week. Now onto their next undefeated opponent, Carroll County who is coming off a bye 3-0. The Bearcats running clocked the Panthers last year in Lawrenceburg but lost by a couple of scores 2 years ago when the game was at Carrollton.

Big 8th Region BoC meeting yesterday, with J. Tackett leading the meeting about redistricting the 8th Region. Specifically addressing the 3 team and 2 6 team districts with the addition this year of Cornerstone Christian into the 30th. No solution was voted on, but more meetings and a decision are expected before Christmas. Any thoughts on new district alignments for the 8th? Here is the current alignment. 3 Oldham Schools Anderson, Woodford, Collins, Cornerstone, Shelby, Spencer Trimble, Henry, Emminence, Gallatin, Owen, Carroll Simon Kenton, Grant, Walton, Williamstown

Looking forward to Coach Buchanon's 3rd year in Lawrenceburg. He has created lots of good vibes around the ACHS football program. The gridiron Bearcats graduated a lot of production from last years team, but AC has some talented newcomers that hope to build on the departed seniors success's.

Thanks for picking against AC again. It's worked out real well for the guys from Lawrenceburg the last 2 games in the post season.

The 40th District Championship will be fun. But the rematch about 10 days later in Mt. Sterling will be absolute must watch TV.

Picking a region winner from the 30th before the semi finals is a risky proposition.

Could/Should play 4 times this year. The last at Montgomery County for the 10th region title.

Coach Hinson was the CoY last year, one could argue he has done a better job this year. If the talent is even remotely close give me Coach Hinson and A-Town.
