GRC down 9 in 3rd take the lead and go up 10 in 4th.  MoCo rallies on untimely GRC shots and their own responding 3s.  Reed’s 25 footer at buzzer sends the Indians to Rupp.

Coach Mays performed quite the turnaround in just two seasons. The Indians were 11-18 in Mays first season last year that ended with a 73-47 loss in the opening round of the 40th district to GRC now being 22-10 and to Rupp Arena.

I’d like to see how the 2nd half unwound. Two pretty good size runs for both teams.

It's a lot easier to win when you have talent.

Great respect on this young man’s game!  He is the final piece the Indians needed to get to Rupp.  Great going MoCo.

We're correct, you can't win without talent... but turning around a double digit game in your favor by closing out with a 14-1 run points to doing something right with in-game adjustments. 

Watched this one live, full gym with a great atmosphere, Reed is the real deal, best point guard I have seen this year, could play the point for any high school team.

Coach Mays has quite a few former players playing college basketball from his days at Ashland, one which will be going up against Oregon this week in the NCAA. Being a former college coach himself, in my opinion, he knows how to develop and prepare players for the next level and get all out of them they have to offer.

The sea of MoCo supporters as the backdrop rivals anything I've ever seen at a regional tournament. Just awesome to see.

Reed’s size will really be a factor at the next level, hard to defend anyone with good offensive skills. Wish he were a couple inches taller.
