Eastern is vastly improved this year! Returned majority of their team plus added a few nice pieces at running back. I think they very well could finish second in the district behind Trinity.

I think it would be remiss to forget that many of the recent Boyle County studs were Danville Admirals at one time. Clifton Yocum, Demauriuh Brown, Sage Dawson, etc. That is a talent rich area and Danville will get back to the level they once were.

@Unrivaled97 I am curious who you believe has had a better Centurion career, Ja’Hyde Brown or Milton Wright. I watched Milton many times and it was if he was playing a different game on the field. I’m sure the same is for Ja’Hyde.

Final from Lexington. This score surprises me. Is Lafayette better than expected? This is not a pushover North Oldham squad.

I understand Cooper is down a bit but if you look at the previous seasons for Hoptown and Christian County I would consider this a big step in the right direction for the newly consolidated squad.

Defensive slugfest in Brandenburg. Lots of growing pains for two young squads.

Scott County is likely quite good but I fear their defense will hold them back once again.

Trinity beats everyone in Kentucky and probably by a lot. Probably less than 10 teams that are capable of avoiding a running clock.

4A North Oldham Mustangs take down 6A Bryan Station in a preseason scrimmage. QB Brodie Pfeiffer looked excellent in the win. Expect the Mustangs to be in the conversation for the 3rd and 4th rounds of the 4A playoffs.

I think Trinity wins big 35-14. Go Kentucky.

North Oldham will be the best team in the region by far and probably the best in the state. They added 6’8 F Aaron Moore this offseason and just added 3 star recruit 6’6 Josh Smith Jr. who is the son of the former NBA all star Josh Smith.

East Jessamine travels to South Oldham on Friday night for the second scrimmage of the season. South Oldham struggled in their first scrimmage against 6A Frederick Douglass while working in new faces at many positions. East Jessamine comes off a 14-0 scrimmage victory over Mercer County. Last season South Oldham defeated East Jessamine fairly handily but it’s a new year. East Jessamine seems to be improved from last season and South Oldham is a little down so I look for this to be a competitive, beneficial scrimmage for both 5A squads.
