Someone made a comment about Kobe having "three rings" in an earlier thread. I heard Shaq asked Kobe to marry him. He figured he already put three rings on Kobe's fingers he might as well marry him. We see how well Kobe's team has faired without the big fella.

Best player can't translate to champ without all of the right pieces, IMO.

I agree, however, many said that of him when he went to Miami and they won the title. I'm not making a case for Shaq, just pointing out the Kobe needed and still needs help, even if he is the best player in the league.

You would be one of the few that LBJ has achieved the attribute of "clutch." Not yet. KB , hands down, is the #1 player in the league.
