I have a 50 inch plasma and a 37 inch LCD. I like the plasma 10 times better! No worry for burn in either. Their is a burn-in prevention feature that they tell you to do once every few weeks. It takes 5 minutes and your screen goes from black, to white, to gray. Also, unless you plan on using the TV strictly for gaming, get a 720 instead of a 1080.

I just bought a 50 inch Samsung on Saturday! I am very pleased with it! Also, for anyone purchasing a TV don't fall for the 1080 hype unless all you are planning to do is watch Blue Ray and play video games. HDTV is broadcast at 720, and very few channels are that.

For what its worth, Landon Slone of Paintsville is going to be a much better college basketball player than Stepp. Wonder why BCG isn't giving him more attention?

Without a doubt, Landon could walk on at UK, and with his work ethic and toughness, see some playing time by the time he is a Jr or Sr. During the summers he plays pickup with all of us older guys in Prestonsburg. You will see the likes of JR Vanhoose, and several other former college basketball players from Transy, Thomas Moore, Pikeville, and Alice Lloyd playing there. Landon is usually the best player on the floor and he had gained alot of toughness by playing with the older guys. And I mean lets be honest, Landon is strides ahead of the other walk ons that UK already has: Dusty Mills, Mark Krebs, and that kid with the weird last name (lol). I'm pretty sure that he has been offered by Murray, EKU, Georgetown, Pikeville, and Marshall.

He is the best player in Eastern KY, without question. He would make for a good walk on at UK.

It could be interesting to see how Landon Slone matches up against Scotty Hopson, should UHA win. Randy McCoy and Bill Mike Runyon were college roomies at Pikeville college too!

Scott County does seem like a great place to live. Things do just seem fishy with the players who transfer in.

I played against Tommy in high school and after the fact. You couldn't meet a nicer guy! I just don't know that he could step into those shoes yet. Best of luck to him if he gets the job though!!...:thumb:
