Plato
This came up in another thread. Can anyone name situations where multiple players from the same team, graduating in the same year signed D-1 Scholarships... Here are some I thought of: Rick Jones and AW Hamilton 1999 Scott Co. (Jones to Vandy, then Murray; Hamilton to prep school, then Wake Forest, then Marshall) Jaron Brown and Erik Brown Bryan Station (Jaron to Pitt, Erik to Morehead, then U of L) Brandon Bender, Cedric Knight, and Mac Wilkinson from Ballard (I don't know the schools) Help me out.... OYPreps
Patrick Patterson, Chris Early, OJ Mayo HUNTINGTON HIGH This is a great example. Very consistent with Kentucky's talent pool.
LRCW
Kingfish Stevens can correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure that Ashland's 1961 State Champion team had all 5 starters receive Division 1 scholarships.
ky hoopster
This is a great example. Very consistent with Kentucky's talent pool. State of residence was not mentioned in the thread title. That particular team of players was not consistent with West Virginia"s or Huntington High's Talent pool either. Which make's a really good point. Talent can pop up anywhere, anyplace, anytime. If you were to do some research you would find that teams that graduate 2 or 3 D1's in the same class doe's not happen at every school all the time, but it does happen at lot's of school sometime in their history. Just maybe it's Elliott County's time baby!!!!!:ylsuper::banana:
Hoops Yoda
Patrick Patterson, Chris Early, OJ Mayo HUNTINGTON HIGH Where did Early end up? I thought something happened that effected his scholarship to Oklahoma. Some other good pairs, but I don't know where they signed to play: Jermaine Brown and Carlos Toomer Marquis Estill and Keneal Jenkins

Could have been similar to his high school troubles I really dont know for sure.
OYPreps
I think Turner was Louisville bound, but got into trouble during the spring or summer and never reached campus.
Hoops Yoda
I think Turner was Louisville bound, but got into trouble during the spring or summer and never reached campus. Jermaine Brown played at UT for a couple of years, but didn't get many minutes. He came back to G-town College and had a great career.
westsider
I think Turner was Louisville bound, but got into trouble during the spring or summer and never reached campus.Turner signed at South Carolina, but had some serious legal trouble and was out of basketball for two or three years. I think he eventually played at an NAIA school in West Virginia. Turner was actually a junior when Fairdale repeated as state champs in 1991. The senior stars on that team were Jermaine Brown and Maurice Morris.
