In 1999, Pleasure Ridge Park had three Division I-bound seniors on the team that lost to Paducah Tilghman in the final seconds in the quarterfinals.

 

Michael Griffith went to East Tennessee State, Duane King went to Pennsylvania, and Kevin Paschel went to Murray State.

Morris played at Southern Miss correct. Shot the ball southpaw and could jump out of a gym.

When Louisville Eastern won the state title in 1997, did any of their guys sign Division I?

University Heights, 1996 ... Lamont Barnes played at Temple and Isiah Victor played at Tennessee. Michael Forrest went the juco route, then played two years at Eastern Illinois. Harol Swanagan was a sophomore that year and later went to Notre Dame.

 

University Heights, 1992 ... Darren Allaway went to Stanford and Marty Cline played a couple of years at Morehead State before his career was cut short by injuries, I think.

I thought of them, but forgot to mention them. Defoe signed at Tennessee State, I think, but wasn't there for long, if at all. Luyk spent most of his time at St. John's on the bench.

 

The 1990 UHA team that won the All A Classic's first statewide tournament had five Division I guys ... Luyk and Defoe were seniors, junior James White went to Harvard and Allaway and Cline were sophomores.
