Setty didnt score as much as he can but he looked really nice passing, taking charges and doing the little thing. Darius was monster and the Mason role players did there job. Good showing today.

Lets.. And I believe Setty is a top 15-20 player in the state. The kid has new elements to his game he never had before. The state will be surprised this year. I gaurantee.

OYPreps, I honestly doubt Tsettyfor3 is Trevor Setty, so hes not a teammate;). And I have seen one of the pics on his avatar on another site with another players face on it, so i doubt hes mocking Darius. But you can keep on trying to cause problems son:thumb: lol

Well the parents are paying for there fare and the players have been doing alot of fund-raising ive been told.

Setty has the better upside in my opinion but im a biased Royal fan!!

How can you say that?? Honestly, that is by far the worst description of Treg Setty's game that I have ever heard. I have seen him play plenty, and when I have he impresses me. He is about 6'5" and can shoot the lights out. So, just because he is tall doesn't mean he should be in the post rebounding. He isn't even close to being a post player. He is a scorer and he is probably a small forward.

Looks like Mason has a head start, with all the returning "starters" from the summer practicing. It looks to be an unbelievable year.

YOu have got to be joking! Treg Setty is a major prospect in that system, hes tall, can shoot the lights out, and is only a freshman. Jordan Gilbert is one of the quickest point guards i have seen in awhile, and ive seen alot. Jordan may be one of the best freshman point guards in any region. You have obviously never watched them play because to say something that ridiculous is mind-boggling.

I might get scolded for this but I do believe that Treg Setty and Jordan Gilbert will be better than Robbie Stenzel. I think Setty might already be better, except Robbie is definately more athletic than him but size, hustling, and shooting abillity all go to Setty. I've seen both play numerous times, with Setty being the most times.

I know there are alot of fans on the board for them but i do believe they are a tad bit overrated. I have seen them play and i love how the twins play but I am not as overly excited as everyone else is about Ferguson and heres why. 1) if hes 6'2", Im 7'5". He is not that tall, he maybe close to 6 foot tall. 2) His ball handling needs alot of work. His head is up but his eyes are down. 3) Hes had the benefit of playing with two great distributors his whole high school career He is a talented player, but i dont believe there is a D-1 team that he could play on and definately not star on. If he becomes a better ball handler and becomes a point guard than yes there will be plenty of suitors but until that day comes i dont think he could do it. I also agree with hoops yoda. The 11th Region is unreal and it would be hard for any of those players to get the attention they are getting at Elliott, on any top team in the 11th. Scott Counties 8th man could start at Elliott.. Oh wait he does. No offense to Maynard because he can fill it up but he would not be playing very much at Scott, but that just might be my opinion.

Im pretty sure there will be a duo in Mason County soon..

It's not sarcasm, you were the one putting the boys that were listed down and bragging on how good all your players were. Im not bragging on how good they are im just stating the fact that some kids are just contributors and that doesnt mean that they are top 10 players. Brad Pawsett and Tyreese Scott were contributors but they werent even close to top in the region.

Its amazing what one stupid act by one "student/athlete" can change the whole outlook of every schools season.

It's a shame Mason can't have 3-4 varsity teams with all that talent. Sarcasm?

I watched alot and he did do good and was a contributor but how does bein just a contributor make you a top ten player. Mason Co has plenty of contributors on the team and you could have a whole top ten list from this school. I guarantee you Kieth Downing, Jeremy Thompson, Jackson Tolle, Ethan King, Ryan Hamm, Terrence Breckenridge, Phil Barner, and The Freshman are better than half those players on that list but should they be on there? NO. Because they were just contributors last year and some didnt even play n varsity last year but they could've started on any other team in the region excluding Brossart and Clark.

I think it is pretty easy to believe because there not top ten in the region. Hatton should probably be on there if the other players at the bottom are, but just because Bennett hits one shot against Mason Co doesn mean he is a top player in the region.
