Who are the best players in Kentucky?

I think Scotty Hopson he is ranked 8th in the nation. He must be pretty good. Did he move in, because I have never heard of him until I got on espn.com

Miller from Mason County is the best player in the state.

Miller from Mason County, also Henderson from Holmes is up there.....

1.Darius Miller

2.Scotty Hopson

Hopson is ranked so high because he is just like a pettigrew....no real talent to back him up so he has to do it all.

Wrong.... there is a better player on his team...IMO

Tyshwan Edmondson

Tyshwan Edmondson

Never heard of him.

Edmonson may have gotten more done for UHA... Hopson has yet to play to his potential on his high school team. He's made his name on the AAU circuit. Talent level is very high. Motivation level has been very low in games I've seen.

If I only have one scholarship I'm giving it to Miller.

Most of your answers will come soon. The hype ends and reality starts. Its going to be an exciting year as more kids have D1 offers in quite sometime. Its good to be a Kentucky High School hoops fan right now.

There are a ton of very good players this year in Kentucky. At this point Darius Miller is the best player in the state IMO. Hopson has the most ability, but I never see him reaching that, I hope I'm wrong. Bud Mackey would have been right there with those 2. Shelvin Mack, Aaron Morris, and Victor Moses are all great talents as well.

Tyshwan Edmondson

I agree 100%. Do you have any idea who might be recruiting Edmondson?

Seen Hopson play a couple times, it's hard to pick against him.

Can someone please tell me what Bud Mackey done please? I must have missed it.

I gotta go with Darius Miller of Mason County right now. Havent seen Hopson play a whole lot, but heard good things about him.

He may not get much pub outside the Maysville area, but Chris Owens of St. Pat is one of the most underrated players in the state. 24.2 points and 7.5 rebounds and shoots well everywhere (55.3 from the field, 35.4 from behind the arc).
