Mason County will be playing a team from Hawaii in the 1st round. That part is for sure. Mason County has been given two sets of brackets for the rest of the tournament. The determining factor is Montrose Christian High School out of Maryland. Teams from KY and New York State are not allowed to play them at this time because they are not a member of the Maryland Atheltic Association. They have applied for probationary membership. If they receive it, the teams from NY are allowed to play them but Mason County will not. So, we will either have a regular 16 team tournament or Mason County will play there first round game and then be in a pool with three other teams based on what happens with Montrose. If Mason County wins its first game, They will be in pool play with Rice High School (New York City), the National Champion of China and (Guang Zhu) and Mount Vernon (New York).Should be an awesome few days for the Royals in beautiful Hawaii and going up against several top 20 nationally ranked teams.

Can't wait to see the outcome of these !

They open with a team from Hawaii as everyone does and that should be a W.I believe they will compete very well out there actually and wouldn't be surprised to see them win it.I don't remember them playing Rice in the past but that doesn't mean they haven't.
