Wow, lot's of small schools in the Top 10 early. 8 out the 10 are participating in the All A Classic. Where are all the big schools?

This is why I cannot stand the All A Classic. There are maybe 4 or 5 that SHOULD be competing in the All A, but as I've learned in the past that is a different and very controversial path.

 

Should be an interesting season in the district with Valley and Pikeville this year. Pikeville has something not many mountain teams have, a legitiment 6'8 - 6'9 center in Adams. He is only a junior this season, and has aparently made some great progress this off-season. He has some amazing potential to develop into a dominant high school player.

I think Paintsville should be at least 4. I would switch places between them and Cumberland.

Hey, when I grew up there I always thought that we were in the mountains?:confused:

Cumberland maybe the top team period....just look at who they have beat so far. Desmond Johnson is the best player in the region,,,,,besides Seidel from North. Good thing the region title is not handed out in December...Clay, Corbin, Jackson, Pineville and a few others would be out of luck and the Skins would be dancing in Rupp.

Is Elliot in the WYMT broadcast area? I think the Mountain Top 10 is a ranking of their broadcast area.

I think that we will just have to petition the local cable company to add WYMT!

If Elliott isn't in the mountains then Catholic isn't in the Bluegrass!

Elliot County is south of I-64, which means they are a mountain team! :thumb:

I could be wrong but I think WYMT only ranks teams in the 12th, 13th, 14th and 15th regions. Not sure I have ver seen them rank a 16th region team. If they did I am sure Elliot would be ranked.

I spoke wit a few of the guys from WYMT. They said that Elliot is not in their coverage area.

 

They said that if Elloitt was, then they would be at least 1 or 2.
