  1. Individual scoring: Douglass: Williams assist Porter. Madison Central: Natalie Knecht scored both goals.
  2. Madison Central scores the go ahead in the second overtime winning with a score of 2-1.
  3. Article said unavailable for Regional finals. I have to wonder who Douglass will replace her with tonight and if they win who most probably against Lexington Catholic.
  4. According to an article in today's online Herald Leader, Frederick Douglass will be without the services of Maddie Merryweather in their 11th region semifinal game tonight against Madison Central. I'm sure not having Merryweather will change the Douglass game plan because that is a significant loss to their offensive attack.
  5. The 11 Region semi-finals will be played at Madison Southern on Wednesday with Lexington Catholic vs. Great Crossing at 6pm and followed by Frederick Douglass vs. Madison Central at 8pm.
  6. Scoring for Douglass: Barnes assist by Williams. H. Flynn assist by Merryweather.
  7. Individual scoring: Henry Clay: Avery Allen. Frederick Douglass: A.G. Meek assist Maddie Merryweather. Haley Flynn unassisted.
  8. Individual scoring for Douglass: Williams assist H. Flynn. Merryweather assist H. Flynn. Williams unassisted. Rowe assist Williams. Williams unassisted. Meek assist E. Flynn. Sayre scored their first goal to tie the score at one all. Sayre also scored the last two goals for the game to make the final score a 6-3 Douglass win. All three goals for Sayre were scored by Katherine Monahan. I find it note worthy that Monahan has scored 31 goals in Sayre's last 6 games.
  9. Final in the first semi-final game of the 42 District being played at Bryan Station. Score from @FDHSGSoccerFan on"X".
  10. I found this interesting. From the Calpreps website. Prediction for Johnson Central at Corbin game. They gave a 97 precent probability of a 35-6 Corbin win. Notice first line in posted image.

  12. Okay, the Tomcats are a good team but I don't know that I will say the same for 2 wins and 3 losses George Washington in W.Va. who are currently ranked #12 (all rankings are from MaxPreps for W. Virginia. and are across all classes). GW has lost 42-13 to Huntington, currently 4-0 on the season and ranked #1. GW has lost 49-21 to Cabel Midland, currently 5-0 on the season and ranked #3. GW has lost 42-21 to Ashland, Ky. GW has won 17-14 to Hurricane, currently 4-1 and ranked #7. (Their marquee win.) GW has won 98-7 over South Charleston, currently 0-5 on the season and ranked #54.
  13. I guess that all the 11th region coaches need to be asking themselves a question. Why did or what did GRC do to match up so well with Lexington Catholic?
  14. Johnson Central is a good football team but defense wins.
  15. Sorry but I can't stand my own grammatical errors. It should have read. I believe that Redhound home games are pay per view on this website: https://t1073.com/Sports.html
  16. The KHSAA website had Williams with 4 assists. In the video feed that I watched, I wasn't able to determine who may have assisted on Rowe's goal but the team statistician did.
  17. Individual scoring for Douglass: E. Flynn assist Merryweather. H. Flynn assist Williams. Rowe unassisted. H. Flynn assist Williams. Merryweather assist williams. T. Walker assist Newland. Shout out to goal keep Reese Walker and the Douglass defense for their 9th shutout in 19 games on the season. The Douglass defense has only given up 3 goals in their last 8 games.
  18. I believe that Redhound home game are pay per view on this sight: https://t1073.com/Sports.html
  19. Those 22 points were allowed in their first 2 games of the season which they have followed with 3 consecutive shutouts. If I remember correctly they had 6 consecutive shutouts last season. I also expect more shutouts as they finish the regular season.
  20. I believe that this was the last game for the JV Broncos, finishing the year with a record of 8-3-2 while scoring 23 goals and allowing only 8 goals in those 13 games. The JV Broncos had 7 shutouts and gave up multiple goals in only two games allowing 2 goals in each of those games. The JV Broncos went 3-0-2 against Fayette County competition, winning against Henry Clay twice in shut out victories, tying both Dunbar and Lafayette with identical 1-1 scores and winning against LCA 1-0. The JV Broncos ended their year with shutout wins against LCA, Ballard and Madison Southern.
