  10. This is where the 13th region is played at the Corbin Arena. It might as well be a college facility because it's bigger than many.
  11. It should be a very good game to watch. The winner will be the team which does the better job of executing their game plan.
  12. I doubt that Porter is 100% either. That type of injury to a joint just doesn't completely hear in a few weeks. Just my opinion of course.

  16. I would like to send out a big congratulations to Ashland Blazer for winning the 16th region title and defeating for the 4th time this year a good Boyd County team. I would also like to congratulate Colin Porter for earning the MVP of the tournament. In the three games he scored 47 points on 19-31(61.3%) shooting, 28 assists, 16 rebounds and only 4 turnovers. He is a true team player and always finds the best way for him to contribute to his team. Congratulations Colin Porter.

  18. If he is a senior and plays no spring sport then it is school systems responsibility to make sure an appropriate punishment is incurred. It is a school system's responsibility to educate and in real life actions have consequences. By the senior year in high school that should have already been learned or if not it should be explained with a just punishment to reinforce the lesson.
  19. This incident sorta of clarifies why it's the custom of many officials to run off the court immediately at the ending of the game. I'm not a fan of zero tolerance but there are times for it and unless a player is attacked by an official there is no excuse for a player showing any hostility towards an official. If the player has a grievance with an official he should go through his coach to get it resolved.
