This Douglass team starts a 7th grade goalie and four 8th graders. They have a 10-2-2 record with only 10 goals given up and 40 scored in those 14 games. They have 9 shutouts and haven't given up a goal in their last 7 games. This Douglass JV team is solid in all positions with good depth and substitutes getting significant playing time. For example  one goal in this 2-0 win over Henry Clay was scored by an 8th grade substitute and both assists were by a 7th grade substitute. The future looks bright for the Douglass program in the next few years.
