BlueBoy
I would say the Bird Dome in Ft. Thomas. With the rear of the school right on top of you, the Cannon exploding over and over, and a visitors sideline that you share with thousands of fans and kids. Even the opponents fans are exhausted from the mile plus long hike just to get to the field after finding a spot down a neighborhood street. Another one of our strategies. :sssh: So hands down HHS! 3ptshooter
Dayton. It is like playing in a prison yard, although the new fence makes it a little nicer you still have the dreaded WALL behind you as the visiting team and not to mention the Cheerleaders in your huddle on the sidelines. THEGREENDANDY
St.X will be a very tough place to play. They will not lose at home this upcoming season.
Sting
For the Northern Kentucky area I would have to say Highlands...
pldgreatno2
Scott Co.- cause they hate tha "D" soooooooo much Boyd Co.- played there once and it was the loudest place. Sirens galore!
calm like a bomb
Middlesboro is a rough place to play. The last time I played there, we had fans yelling and cursing 5 feet from us the entire game. I also saw a 6 year old flip us off as we were driving to the stadium:scared:
Hearsay
I found War Memorial to be a very good home field advantage for the Mayfielders. Death Valley in Meade County can be somewhat intimidating, too. As is the great concrete mass that is Danville's stadium.

I would also have to say Cumberland High School. The visitors side line has water pipes underneathe it and even on the hottest nights its covered in water and mud. 50inarow
Sounds like the KHSAA should mandate acceptable standards for hosting a home football game. Sportsmanship, visiting team safety, and acceptable sidelines should be requirements. If not, the home team should lose by means of forfeit. swforever
Log Mountain Bell County, you might as well not even think you are getting any calls. And Louisville Central someone correct me if I am wrong but don't they actually play on a old prison yard its just a different environment there
MEDICINEMAN
Wheeewwww... Highlands is a tough place to visit. Not only do they always have a great team to contend with but you must deal with the fans at your back. They always have a great fan turn-out. Most are good avid fans and others are downright nasty. The field facilities are very closely confined. A matter of inches separate home fans and visiting team. The indimidation factor exists. In no way am I slamming the program. I am actually commending it. I wish we could create the same...:thumb: Very, very rough place to visit...
spe690
The OLD "Pit" at Prestonsburg! Anybody who has played there knows how tough it was to play at! :thumb:
True blue (and gold)
I found War Memorial to be a very good home field advantage for the Mayfielders. Death Valley in Meade County can be somewhat intimidating, too. As is the great concrete mass that is Danville's stadium. Admiral Stadium is definitely intimidating...a lot of tradition there! BigBlueFreak
I would say Vipperman Stadium. I know it's closed now but that was a very special place to go and the atmosphere was second to none.
