Ballard 31 Franklin County 13

Maybe I'm wrong here, but it seems people are throwing Franklin under the bus, when they have played two really good teams, it isn't like they have played bad teams and taken losses. Ballard is number 4 in 6a and Corbin is as good as anyone in 5A and down. I think FC will be fine, and will get better as the year goes by.

I would imagine Coach James knew what he was in for when he put this schedule together and losing two of his best offensive weapons off last years roster. Ballard is easily the 3rd best team in 6A and Corbin is an impressive team and an early front runner for 4A champs.

The Flyers will regroup and sweep their district and be ready to overcome this same type of adversity in the playoffs. I would like to see them get another shot at Corbin in the playoffs to see if there is a  difference. As for Scott they are obviously down and the talent has Escaped to that new school in town. Any time a lower class beats a larger class former powerhouse it is impressive but I think that win is becoming less and less impressive as SC’s season unfolds. Next week should be very interesting as the flyers travel to Woodford to take on an undefeated Jacket team!

All the board brills, running, and up-downs in the world at practice doesn’t make you a better football team. Wonder if FC could’ve gotten any better at practice by actually practicing.

Last time I checked most teams do all of the above? FC has a great staff. Keep counting them out, in the  meanwhile I’m sure  the kids and coaches will Be working!  Proud of the Flyers for stepping up to a real schedule this year.

Major props to FC for scheduling tough, it will only help then later in the year, my point more or less was the most physically demanding, hard nosed practice of the year isn’t always the best course of action. At the end of the day the job is to get the kids ready for Friday night, and if your kids are worn out on Friday night, then you are hurting your team.

Franklin County getting Exposed!!!

I don't agree with them being "exposed." They've played two teams in as many weeks that are good football PRORGAMS. There are a lot of teams that would be 0-2 against Corbin and Ballard.
