That Beechwood vs. Corbin matchup Week 1 should be a barnburner. Can't wait! Will be interesting to see if this new coach unleashes him. Weirdly, the last two years, he wasn't used much - or as much as you would think someone of his caliber would be - in this game.

You are so right. I pulled up his stats from last year. Only 507 yards rushing and 167 yards receiving for the season. They sure did not go to him much last year. I have to believe that changes this year.

Longmire's recruitment and career is kind of mirroring Vito Tisdale's. Both were guys playing both ways and touching the ball in various ways, that projected as better prospects as a DB. 

Tisdale blew up on the recruiting scene but then had a pretty disappointing Junior campaign.

Tisdale was able to rally for a fantastic Senior campaign that spring boarded him into early playing time in college. For Longmire, the hope is he may be able to do the same.

He's more of a DB prospect IMO.  Hopefully he continues to improve, which I'm sure he will.
