Clyde
They've suspended "team activities" due to what they call an unfair suspension of 10 players over a Title IX investigation into a sexual assault. Police investigated and decided to not charge the players yet they are still suspended. http://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/ncaaf/bigten/2016/12/15/minnesota-players-threaten-to-boycott-bowl-game/95495810/

SLINK
Coach supports the players... I saw that after I posted. This is from administration. However, I still think they need to get back to practice and play in the Holiday Bowl.
jericho
How is it a Title IX issue when a worker at MN accuses 4 players of un-consensual sex, but allowed 2 others to have sex with her. How does it play with title IX

Pioneer.Pride
Universities are the source of Political Correctness in our culture. The players were suspended for being ACCUSED of sexual misconduct. Does not matter if there is guilt or not. The act of being accused, according to policy, gets you suspended. MJAlltheWay24
If the police investigated the incident and decided to not charge the places then I don't blame the players for boycotting. This read very different when I saw it posted by a few female friends yesterday.

I highly recommend you guys read Missoula by Jon Krakauer for a better understanding a sexual assault, reporting, and punishment on campuses. Very enlightening. THE SHERIFF
The university stated that the suspended players have violated team rules. If these players committed violations, I have no problem with suspensions.
