bobcatLB
Having played in this Game. I wasnt real impressed with Commwealth Staduim for this game. I would like to see it played in a smaller stad. Like EKU i think would be great. be easy to get in and out of and would be a great Place... 3wishes
Places like CommonWealth and Neyland are great places to play this game, I just feel they need to sanction some f the area off and make it off limits, that way it would make a better atmosphere. NEERFAN
Ru, I agree with you on the G'town bit. How many does Rawling's hold? I would venture to guess around 7,000.
JonnyBrewsky
Georgetown's stadium is as nice as they come IMO.

3wishes
Could they have it at Georgetown? When is the Bengals training camp there, wouldn't that interfere or is that later on in the year?
oldstick1
Maybe Paul Brown stadium would let them do it for free!JOKE!! Seriously, Rawlings Stadium is an awsome place for a game and is pretty Central.

knightsdad
I agree on the Georgetown stadium, it's just the right size to hold any expected crowd, heck might even be full! Wouldn't that be great. Plenty of hotel rooms in the area too.

EKUColonels
Originally posted by NEERFAN I would rather play in a cozy stadium. IMHO it is the best stadium in the OVC, it has the best natural grass playing surface around. The playing surface is better than some of the schools in the SEC. Roy Kidd Stadium in the 70's hosted the the Kentucky High School Football Champioships. It has great concessions and public bathrooms. The city of Richmond has grown in the past few years, there are numerous up scale hotel accomodations and restaurants.

Bubs
Yeah I agree with playing the game at EKU, I graduated from there and attended almost all of the home games and it is a great atmosphere. And there is plenty of nice hotels and restaurants nearby, plus it is easy to get to and there is plenty of parking. (Edit) Nope there are stands on both sides of the field.
