Florida Hires Dan Mullen

Official Florida hires Mullen to be its next head coach. Mullen was Florida's offensive coordinator from 2005-08.

I like the hire.

I don't think they can get a bigger name, I think they take best available that they can get.

2nd best coach in the sec? Auburns coach is one win a way from being in his 2nd national title game or playoffs. While also basically being a big reason why they won the title with Cam Newton when he was there. Auburns coach has been probably one of the most underrrated coaches in America for awhile now imo.

Cats beat Miss state last season at home. But yes as a cats fan, I hate the hire and the streak could continue for many more years.

However I called Mullen to FL as soon as it opened. Great hire for the Gators.
