Colonels_Wear_Blue
Who also wrote several songs for Dr Hook Right on. "Cover Of The Rolling Stone" was one of his. Allegedly everything about the song...right down to the goofy voices used throughout the song...was laid out by Silverstein.
Getslow
Two actors have the distinction of being killed in movies by a Terminator, Alien, and Predator. Lance Henrikson (The Terminator, Alien 3, Alien vs. Predator) Bill Paxton (The Terminator, Aliens, Predator 2)

Getslow
^ Bill Paxton should get killed more often. I agree. He should be in WAY more movies than he gets, which would give him many more opportunities for on-screen deaths.

Colonels_Wear_Blue
He seriously has to be the worst actor in the world. With an exception for his role as Coconut Pete in Club Dread. If you haven't seen it.....see it. You'll laugh your butt off.

I've seen part of it. It/he was okay. His best performance was in Weird Science IMO.

Getslow
If you can't get into Paxton in Aliens or Near Dark, there's nothing I can do for you. The dude is the perfect level of crazy for those kinds of movies.
Colonels_Wear_Blue
Actually, his character was pretty spot-on in True Lies too. He plays a great smarmy, sleazy used car salesman.

Colonels_Wear_Blue
The first commercial oil in the United States was drilled in 1819 in McCreary County. More than half of the Americans killed in the War Of 1812 were Kentuckians. Kentucky has more miles of running water than any state besides Alaska. D.W. Griffith, Duncan Hines, the mother of Frank & Jesse James, and the two women who composed the song "Happy Birthday" were all from Kentucky. Clyde
When Percy Sledge recorded "When A Man Loves A Woman" Jerry Wexler heard it and discovered the horns in the song were out of tune. He sent in new horn players and recorded a new version. Somehow the tapes got mixed up and the original out-of-tune version went out and became the monster hit. Jim Schue
In light of the earlier references to The Monkees — loved the TV show, by the way — they were at the top of the bill for one of the oddest musical pairings in history when in 1967 they toured with Jimi Hendrix opening for them. Michael Nesmith actually had some musical talent prior to the Monkees gig, and is a well-respected roots-rock songwriter.
