At the time of the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor, the head of command for the Navy was known as the Commander-in-Chief, U. S. Fleet. The acronym form was often used when referring to the official holding the position, much like POTUS, and the acronym "CINCUS" was even pronounced "sink-us". This acronym was officially chanced to COMINCH on December 20, 1941, days after the attack.

The great-grandfather of one of my friends served in the First World War in the 16th Bavarian Reserve Regiment. Any clue who one of his fellow soldiers was?

 

The lady that works next to my wife has an uncle that was a pretty big deal in WWI, any guess who that could have been.

Good thing is no one can hold you to that, since none of the celebrities that said they would leave the country if W. won either of his elections actually left.
