It has to be a toss up between Brian Brohm and Michael Bush, both state champions, great collegians and future pros. Brian for his passing, obviously, and his leadership on the field, understanding of the game. Bush for his power and versatility as an offensive back, QB, receiver and defender.

I was torn between Bush and Brohm. Two great athletes, I went with Bush because of his versitility. But Brohm is right behind him.

I went with Brohm. He did something Bush never even came close to doing. Three state titles. That's what seperates them, and Bush played on some very good Male teams.

Shaun Alexander takes this victory.

SuperBowl appereance, MVP if not mistaking, on the front cover of Madden

Second, I would name Brian Brohm for the fact that he has three state titles, Tim Couch, eh nice performer, but where's he at now?

Bush won one as a freshman and lost in the State Finals twice. I'm not trying to be a Male apologist, but I believe that qualifies for coming close to winning three titles.
