Over Alexander???

Not taking anything away from Alexander, but I believe a lot of his votes here are coming from his success in the NFL. It is hard for a mountain player to get any exposure in the Mr. Football race, and Couch was considered by many to be the best high school player ever.

You clearly know very little about the HS career of Alexander...

Bush won one as a freshman and lost in the State Finals twice. I'm not trying to be a Male apologist, but I believe that qualifies for coming close to winning three titles.

I said that Bush is second, but coming close and actually doing it are two different things. Ask the Buffalo Bills. Brian stepped up and did it when it counted. Bush was a great high school player but I think Brian was better. If you throw in college, I think the gap widens. Brohm has been the better overall player.

For the purposes of this thread dominant is defined as how much better than the average player that year that particular Mr. Football was.

I'm going with Brohm (surprise) because of this definition.

Michael was very deserving of his award BUT if juniors were eligible for the award then some would have voted for Brian that year. I don't think that there was anyone else in any class in 2003 that would have given Brian any competition for the award.

That and Brian being 15-0 in playoff games he started get his vote for me.
