It's hard to compete against a 44-0 record at quarterback and 3 State Championships in 2 different classes. Jeff Duggins certainly deserves to be mentioned, but Boyle was a solid team with many different great players. I wouldn't say he was the most dominant Mr. Football.....I feel that award should go to Michael Bush with Brian Brohm a close second.

Let's see...Jeff Duggins, 3 state championship rings and he was deleted? How many football games did the Rebels lose during his reign? ZERO!! He was deleted?

BTW, Dennis Johnson was the Parade High School Football Player of the Year. What other player in KY has achieved that honor?

For high school play only, has to be between Duggins, Couch, and D.Johnson.

What year did DJ win it????

The only players I know of who won it are Couch in 96' & Redman in 95'.

The award has been given out since 1983.

Seems like DJ and Couch were both Parade All Americans.

I voted Bush just because nobody else could do what he did in high school. There have been great RB's, QB's, WR's, kick returners and defensive guys. Nobody could do them all the way he did it!
