Fastbreak
I love fresh fish and seafood of all kinds, but I recall one particular outing a buddy and I caught several rainbow trout out of a spring fed stream. We kept four 12 inchers, gilled and gutted 'em. We ran cedar sticks through their mouths into their belly meat and proped 'em over open hickory coals. As the evening chill and darkness set in, we listened to an owl and whippoorwills as we feasted under the stars... MMMMMM! Hey Chaplain, how's about shipping some of those goodies back home to the folks who love you? :thumb:

I am on a seafood diet..................If I see "seafood", I eat it.:thumb:
Watusi
Walleye is probably my favorite. Its a great tasting fish. Crappie and Bluegill are both fantastic and overlooked as table fare. For store-bought fish, Talapia is inexpensive and great tasting. And I love broiled Cod or Orange Roughy.

spindoc
Anyone ever eaten Saugeye (the combination of the two)? I've heard it is really good. Have caught them in the Ohio, but was always afraid I'd glow if I ate fish out of that river!

I would guess that the saugeye would taste similar to that. GREAT!!!!

Dlbdonn
Walleye , Cod , and Tilapia . Had some great tilapia today for lunch at Mitchells Fish Market at Newport on the Levee . The cod at Claddagh Irish pub is superb but Ive found that nothing tastes as good as the cod fish setups that were served at Rusts Dinner Bell in Southgate . Ambrosia !!!
