Colonels_Wear_Blue
G.H.W. Bush's health has been in decline for a while now. Interesting detail about the announcement of his death...the Secret Service privately established a code word for the event of the death of President Bush, a lieutenant Naval air pilot in WWII,. The code word was "CAVU". For those unaware, CAVU is a term used by pilots meaning "Ceiling And Visibility Unlimited". Apropos.
Colonels_Wear_Blue
Following President Bush's body lying in state, the Presidential Funeral Service will take place at the National Cathedral, where George W. Bush is expected as one of multiple eulogists. After that, there will be a private family funeral expected to take place in Texas, and then President G.H.W. Bush's body will be reposed alongside Barbara Bush and their daughter Robin, who died of leukemia as a child. The presidential library is located in College Station, TX on the west campus of Texas A&M University.

Pura Vida
I just read the letter he left at the end of his term to his successor, President Clinton. It was so very gracious and positive; what a good guy! RIP, prayers and peace to his family.
