LIPTON BASH
This is a no brainer move. Congrats to the young man.
Bobby Axelrod
This is one of those situations where you hate to see such a talent leave the Bluegrass. However, opportunities like these don't come around often and one would be foolish to pass it up as Montverde's track record speaks for itself. KentuckyHShoops
Amen to everything that has been said here. Justin is a TREMENDOUS player and kid. Unselfish, was always looking to make his teammates better, and a super high IQ guy. This is a great move for him. His dad has put tons of time, effort, and energy into his son and it is all paying off. Congrats to them!
Hoptown b-ball fan
What exactly is Monteverde going to do for Him? Get him more exposure? He’s already an elite level talent..
HoopJunkie
What exactly is Monteverde going to do for Him? Get him more exposure? He’s already an elite level talent.. It’s basically like playing D1 basketball while in higher school. They play the best of the best.

Very true but seeing what Montverde did for D’Angelo Russell has to be enticing for elite level talent from KY.

Straitshooter
What is Russell doing these days? Is he an all star? Playing for the Lakers is a pretty good gig. Not an all-star, but if that's your measuring stick for success then a lot people lead pretty disappointing lives. Montverde is nice because it's all basketball all the time. Not really a limit on the number of games. They make sure you are eating right, training right. They have a good track record for sure.
