KY Hoop Dirt Posted April 11, 2018 Posted April 11, 2018 According to next up recruits, he is going to Montverde.
dognation2 Posted April 11, 2018 Posted April 11, 2018 Wow, I just saw that. Good luck to Justin on his transfer
Smallhoops Posted April 11, 2018 Posted April 11, 2018 That is big news. He is a very nice player. Good luck to Justin. Certainly a blow to Trinity.
PurplePride92 Posted April 11, 2018 Posted April 11, 2018 I saw transfer and was like what???? Then I saw Montverde Academy and was like YESSIR!!! Good luck, Justin!!! Do work!!!
LethalPG Posted April 11, 2018 Posted April 11, 2018 I really liked his game when I saw them play Scott Co. at State.
gocards31 Posted April 11, 2018 Posted April 11, 2018 Wow pretty big news for KY basketball. Best of luck to the young man
LIPTON BASH Posted April 11, 2018 Posted April 11, 2018 This is a no brainer move. Congrats to the young man.
Bobby Axelrod Posted April 11, 2018 Posted April 11, 2018 This is one of those situations where you hate to see such a talent leave the Bluegrass. However, opportunities like these don't come around often and one would be foolish to pass it up as Montverde's track record speaks for itself.
KentuckyHShoops Posted April 11, 2018 Posted April 11, 2018 Amen to everything that has been said here. Justin is a TREMENDOUS player and kid. Unselfish, was always looking to make his teammates better, and a super high IQ guy. This is a great move for him. His dad has put tons of time, effort, and energy into his son and it is all paying off. Congrats to them!
Hoptown b-ball fan Posted April 12, 2018 Posted April 12, 2018 What exactly is Monteverde going to do for Him? Get him more exposure? He’s already an elite level talent..
HoopJunkie Posted April 12, 2018 Posted April 12, 2018 What exactly is Monteverde going to do for Him? Get him more exposure? He’s already an elite level talent.. It’s basically like playing D1 basketball while in higher school. They play the best of the best.
PurplePride92 Posted April 12, 2018 Posted April 12, 2018 What exactly is Monteverde going to do for Him? Get him more exposure? He’s already an elite level talent.. Very true but seeing what Montverde did for D’Angelo Russell has to be enticing for elite level talent from KY.
Guest fogdog.com Posted April 12, 2018 Posted April 12, 2018 What is Russell doing these days? Is he an all star?
Straitshooter Posted April 12, 2018 Posted April 12, 2018 What is Russell doing these days? Is he an all star? Playing for the Lakers is a pretty good gig. Not an all-star, but if that's your measuring stick for success then a lot people lead pretty disappointing lives. Montverde is nice because it's all basketball all the time. Not really a limit on the number of games. They make sure you are eating right, training right. They have a good track record for sure.
