I think some people like to do it. There is no real intimidation behind it they just put it on to make you look cool. I know one thing it is impossible to get off.

Yes it is weak and has been weak for many years. I believe some of the top 1A teams could beat any of the top 2a teams in the state. Also most of the elite teams in 2a you never hear about cause they are so far west and not much comes out about them.

Yes they can and they will. They are a good football team. They are big they are fast and they play hard. Thye have all the toolds to win it all. Now will they we will just have to see.

I really think Henry Clay will be a good football team this year. They have a great defe3nse and a even better offense. I watched them saturday night against a average boyle county team and rolled. This I think will be a better team and should be a great game.

If mercer county doesn't win 2a this year something is wrong. They used that size of Mercer county and the athletic ability of Harrodsburg and made a dominating football team. They have rolled over there first 2 opponents who i must say haven't been great but still. They will roll over anyone this year. They hit you in the mouth and then run right at you. This team will be your 2A state champs.

Pulaski county is and I repeat is the worst team in 3a football. This team has no leadership it seems. It looked to me that there wasn't any motivation nobody wanted to be out there. This looks to me like another down year for the maroons.

I believe it is only 4 dollars to get into a Somerset volleyball game. Which is still a little high to watch volleyball.

I really feel that Southwestern is overated. I think the Franklin county team we played last Saturday would destroy Southwesterns terrible defense. Good game for the Warriors. However this isn't a team that will make a strong push in the 3A playoffs. Somerset grew up a lot this game looked like a different team. They flew to the ball and hit people. Tackling still not great but a lot better then last week. They continue to play and grow up week by week, this team will contend again this year.

I would really say that ares came last friday night. It wasn't probably the worst beating we had but it was a aweful game and we played really sloppy. It was also the first time in Caoch Jay Cobb's head coching era that he has had 70 points hung on him.

NCC will roll in this game. I predict they will win by 2 touchdowns or more. They have a load of talent on both sides of the football. There defense is as solid as i've seen in football. They play fast and play hard. This should be a good statement game on how up to par the 1a teams are to the 2a teams.

Yes a scrimmage is treated the same as a game. If you get kicked out you sit the next game. That is if the ref decides to write you up. I remember last year there was an unsportsmanlike incident between Boyd and Somerset but there wasn't any ejections or suspensions.

I would like to play a tough team. I believe in treating a scrimmage like a practice. It would be nice to play a very good team to warm you up and get you used to playing in the season. I also dont by any of this beat the dog out of these teams to build confidence. You should'nt have to do that your team should already have enough confidence.

I like Somerset's helmets very nice and traditional. Second will have to be LCA. Third would have to be the X men I love that X it looks really nice. Fourth is Danville that silver with the admiral in the state very nice. The fifth would be Madison Central.

Scoot county good be on the rise. I really can't tell I do know one thing though Trinity will not play this poor this season. Big ups to Scott great game guys I would love to see you all compete against the 2 Evil Empires.

Great defense played by both teams. Really did you just have a passing league game. Where is the defense? Male if your wanting state this year the first thing you have to do is to stop the teams from scoring. Because Trinity and St. X will shut you all down.

I wathced the game last night between Boyd County and Somerset. Boyd county not very solid looked to me like the same team they had last year. They tied the Jumpers 14-14 made a big play at the end intercepting ross as the clock ran down. Defense isnt bad they get beat over the top a lot however they do have the ability to stop the run. Could be a decent year for the County as you call yourselfs. I do not see this team making much noise though.

Not a great game for either team. I have seen the Jumpers play better football. On the other hand I have seen them not play as good as they did last night. A lot to work on with the outside rush. Mercer consistantly gained yardage on the outside. The inside defense was great for the Jumpers really attacked the line and moved them back. The Jumpers on offense looked sharp at times the big thing was turnovers. I think if both of these teams continue to work and get better they will be one of the better teams in there district.

Maybe you have'nt seen are schedule this year when we will be playing a very good Frankilin County team. We will also play a 3a powerhouse Southwestern along with Warren East who is much improved and Danville. We consistintly play tough teams and it makes us better. The thing is if you look at it that they are trying to use this as a way to get rid of the private/ public debate and focus on something that will still make private schools more powerful then the public schools.

Dead period actually hurts the player more. Some players take dead period as a time to do absolutely nothing so when they get on the field they are worn out even taking the breaks. Because they are not use to conditioning. I believe it is fine the way it is and shouldn't be lengthened any.

Thank Goodness that might have been the worst field i have ever seen. It was worse then are practice field down here in Somerset. The turf should be really nice as long as they move the track out of the back of the endzone.

Danvile by 10! Just have a feeling I believe it will be closer then everybody thinks though danville will score late. I believe Southwestern just doesnt have the wheels to keep up with the Ads. Kinda dont know who to route for in this game.

Thats why we strap on the gear and go out there and play. We could lose to franklin by 20 or beat them by 20. There is no telling in football that is what makes the game so great. I think this will be a tough and physical game for both teams. Once again Somerset will be underdogs and will have to play that to there advantage. Also to reply to the topic not really a must win for us down here i mean every game is in a way. However we will lean if we lose and it will make us better.

Somerset starts in 2 weeks. They are pretty tough but you can tell it makes you better as a player and after the regional title we won last year it is worth it.

From what i heard. Mercer county had 3 of there big hitters that haven't seen left handed pitching all year. Jordy Molen came after them. Solid win for the Jumpers after there embarassing loss to Rock last week. i think they could make a run if there pitching holds up. Which it seems with jordy molen on the mound it can't.
