Mayfield will go through the two-a-days...they have for as long as I can remember. I figure most of the top notch programs year end and year out go through them. They are tough going through them as a player, but once you make it through them it makes you better in the long run.

Admiral...missed seeing the Ads last year in our annual "Turkey Bowl Game" the day after Thanksgiving...hopefully we can renew it this coming year. Good luck to the ADS this season.

I hope it is better than last years second half choke by the Briar Jumpers but it should be a slugfest like usual! :fight:

1. Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought practice couldn't start until the

15th.

2. What's the use of doing doubles before being able to go in full pads???

1. I would hope that coach harp would know when he is allowed to practice!

2.You would have to ask that question to a coach that has seven state championship rings!

Newport won't start 2 a days until the month of August

You mean like knowing stuff like who's eligible and who's not?

I heard coach Harp today in practice say My Mistake and I don't many mistakes! So I hope he is right!:p

glad you took it as intended, just a bit of a joke.

In all seriousness how long will the go doubles? It seems like a bit of overkill to start this early. I know Trinity won't start doubles until the first week of August and will only do so for a week.

Somerset starts in 2 weeks. They are pretty tough but you can tell it makes you better as a player and after the regional title we won last year it is worth it.
