Several teams change their Helmet Decal every few years.... what are some of your favorites from the past and present.

 

Past- Highlands- Bluebird with helmet.

Dayton- Greendevil with pitchfork

 

Present- Bellevue- Michigan Wolverine style

Somerset (very close to Notre Dame helmet)

I love the old mean bluebird that used to be on our helmets........:ylsuper:

I remember Duffy sported with the idea of having wings on the helmets like the Philly Eagles. But the color was kinda purple and he decided with the block H which they use today.

I will second that.

Belfry

Speaking of the Eagle Lexington Christians are pretty sharp.

Rockcastle County's is my favorite but I also really like Danville, CovCath, Bell County, Belfry, Owensboro High, Lou. Trinity, Pikeville, Corbin, Knott County Central, Prestondburg, Southwestern, Russell County, Highlands, Greenup County, Mason County, Lawrence County (old helmet with bulldog on it), Tates Creek, and St. Xavier.

My favorite helmets of today would be Bellevue, Highlands, and Covington Covington Catholic. On a side note the helmet I disliked the most were Newport's a few years back when they had that ugly Kansas State panther on the side.

I like Danville's a lot, very creative and just cool to look at.

I also like Trinity's , but you have to see it up close to really appreciate it.

Speaking of the Eagle Lexington Christians are pretty sharp.

What's funny is that I've never liked that design in Green (The Philadelphia Eagles), but think it looks great in blue (LCA).

I know it's probably hard to believe that this is a non-bias comment, but really I've always loved the ram horns.

*Garrard County used to have solid maroon helmets with a gold facemask.

 

*Then they adopted an old gold helmet with maroon facemasks and a maroon center stripe (Boston College-style)

 

*Now they have an old gold helmet with a maroon lion on the side (Detroit Lions-style)
